Richard needed to deliver a custom made lodgepole log bed he made to a home near Enumclaw, WA so we decided to make the weekend into a fun camping trip. We took mom and dad’s RV and headed out. The trip started out a little rocky when we arrived at 7PM to find the park gates shut and no instructions about checking into the campground. So, we drove in the out since that gate was open and hoped the park was still open. The park was actually pretty busy and we settled into our spot.
The weather quickly turned terrible. It was cold, rainy, hailed, and the wind blew constantly. Rich delivered the bed that next morning and the customers were very happy with it. When he got back to the campground, we had a break in the weather so we took the opportunity to go for a walk along the creek. It was a beautiful walk and Kayla looked too cute all bundled up in the Baby Bijorn Carrier. The trees were all in fall colors and there were tons of Giant Maples around and the leaves they drop are truly giant (see the picture above). The wonderful picture on our page header was taken here. We had a nice walk and made it home right before the weather got bad again.
