Web Visions 2007 … Its a Wrap!
This was my first year attending the annual Web Visions conference in Portland. The last day of the conference was filled with awesome sessions and keynoted by guys Kent Nichols & Douglas Sarine from the “Ask a Ninja” podcast. The wrap party helled at the Greek Cuisina was truly epic. Things started out with a nice dinner and some beer and ended up with copious amounts of OZO, crazy ninja dancing, an amazing “welcome to 21″ show for put on by the Cucina for one of the volunteers, and some crazy belly dancing.
I have posted my pictures to the flickr webvisions group and I imagine many more will be posting their shots once they wake up from … their shots. Also, below is the video that I took at the party. Keep in mind my point and shoot camera only takes 15 second clips so it is not of high production value :). Be sure to tag yourself on the photos because some of us might be a bit ozo hazy.
The conference was all together a great time and I had the opportunity to meet a ton of great people. Make sure to add me to your twitter feed, in flickr, and look me up next time you are in PDX.

Hey Rich, I didn’t get a chance to make the Wrap party but looks like it was a blast. Great meeting you this trip, have to keep in touch!

Ya.. umm.. thanks for posting this… ya, no really, it was fun to see a company wide email with this link in it, Richard! Don’t forget, I know about where you live!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting this… The guy in the chair in the next-to-last clip is Michael who was celebrating his 21st birthday (even though his birthday was last September). I’m so glad someone got this on film.
