Welcome from Richard and Stephanie Sipe!

Our website has lots and lots of Family Pictures (which are the best way to see what we have been doing), updated Sipe Family News, and my blog. If you want to add your own pictures to the gallery, contact me and I will get you set up.

Stephanie graduated in May 2005 from Pacific University with a Doctor of Optometry! Check out Dr. Sipe’s yearbook page for the Pacific U. Optometry yearbook (Be forwarned it is 3MB! and full of pictures).

I have two parallel blogs now a blog of thoughts, lodgepole log furniture wood working, and computer problem solutions that I manage with the Blogger software, and all the information on this site that I manage with the WordPress software.

I have recently started a Log Furniture Business called Modern Rustics Log Furniture. Previously I built all of the log furniture for our Eagle Crest Vacation Rental. It came out so well and I enjoyed the process that I decided to start a business building log furniture. You can visit the Modern Rustics Website to take a look at the furniture we have available so far. Each piece will be hand crafted by me using Oregon lodgepole pine hand pealed logs. I use only the highest quality materials in the furniture and take great care when making them. Also I try to keep the prices resonable so others can enjoy their handcrafted log furniture as we have in our vacation rental. Give me a call at 360.903.7141 if you are interested in having some log furniture built for your home.

Our vacation rental home in the Eagle Crest Resort Oregon (a little west of Redmond, Oregon) is finished. The Eagle Crest Resort is a great destination resort located in the “high desert” of Oregon about 3 hours south of Portland. We are renting our vacation house out as a vacation rental. To learn more about our place please visit its website: EagleCrestGetaway.com. We have a friends and family rental rate (to find out more contact Rich or Steph) that is a GREAT DEAL! We have lots of days available this spring. Don’t let the house go empty when you can be enjoying a great vacation at Eagle Crest Oregon.

Thanks,
Richard V. Sipe III & Stephanie R. Sipe
